The Diploma of Leadership Coaching (11315NAT) is our premier coaching qualification. Furthermore, it is the Program that provides the catalyst for the amazing cultural change that is occurring in our organisations today!
The Diploma of Leadership Coaching (11315NAT) focuses on the frameworks and tools to coach senior executives and lead with advanced coaching models, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and innovation.
Importantly, the coaching diploma is based on a combination of advanced coaching tools, case studies and learning from the experience of the group.
Our coaching diploma program is an International Coach Federation (ICF) Level 2 Accredited program.

To achieve the Diploma you will completed 9 units of competency (8 core units and 1 elective as stated below):

To achieve the Diploma you will complete a range of coaching and assignments including:
For successful completion and accreditation of the Diploma of Leadership Coaching, you need to achieve competency in specific units of competency. Typically this is achieved by ‘physical’ performance or by providing evidence and documentation that reflects achievement of that competency. If you have skills and experience that meet the competencies of the Diploma then we can discuss giving you recognition of this prior learning.

We also enable participants to receive direct credits for applicable study previously undertaken and recognition of prior learning as applicable. This applies to both units of competency for the Diploma and for ICF coach specific training hours.

Furthermore, the Diploma is aligned with the ICF Core Competency Framework. This means that the completion of the Diploma gives you a pathway to gaining an ICF Credential. More information about ICF credentials can be found here.
How long will the course take and how many hours a week will I need?
Your enrolment fee includes twelve months of access to the materials and support to achieve your qualification. Extensions are available at a fee of $65.00 per month. Students tell us if they allow 2-3 hours a week, over this period, that this is a realistic time frame for completion. Of course, everyone is different.
Is Open Door a Registered Training Organisation AND are the programs ICF accredited?
Yes, Open Door is a Registered Training Organisation (Provider number 21858).
Furthermore, yes, the program is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) as offering coach specific training hours towards the Level 2 accreditation.
We believe it is important that the study you complete leads to the ability (or option) become qualified AND credentialed as a coach. And our Program enables you to achieve both.
Please note: we have been alerted to the fact that other organisations are advertising Level 2 coaching programs.
In order for you to make an informed decision about your coach training, may we just suggest that you ask the organisation the specific questions: are they are Registered Training Organisation or do they partner with an RTO? And is the program an approved ICF Level 2 accredited program?
