Thanks for choosing to enquire about study with Open Door Coaching. We’re looking forward to working with you as you develop your coaching skills to an advanced level that meets the International Coach Federation Professional Certified Coach (PCC) standard.
The next steps for students seeking entry into the Diploma of Organisational Coaching 10835NAT or the Advanced Coaching Certificate are detailed on this page.
You are required to submit the following:
- A 30 minute coaching demonstration at ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) level (please see the Coaching Demonstration Guide below for more information).
- A copy of your resume describing your coaching experience. Please provide as much detail as possible to support your application.

How to make your submission
The easiest way to submit your coaching recording and resume is by using ‘File Transfer Software’. We recommend that you use WeTransfer because it is free and easy to use. You can upload both the recording and your resume in the same file transfer. Alternatively you can use Dropbox or Google Docs.
When you go to WeTransfer or another piece of software it will ask you to enter an email address to send your files to. Please enter: assessments@opendoorcoaching.com.au and attention to Brigitte.
You are required to provide one recording of an actual coaching session of approximately 30 minutes duration. Only the audio file is required; a video file is not required.

What happens next?
The Coaching Demonstration Sheet provides the list of competencies that we need to see demonstrated as entry requirements to the Diploma of Organisational Coaching (10835NAT) or the Advanced Coaching Certification. Your coaching recording will be assessed using the Coaching Demonstration Sheet.
If your recording and coaching experience is deemed competent and meeting the entry requirements you will be invited to enrol in the program.
If your recording and coaching experience is deemed to be not yet competent or not meeting the entry requirements, you will receive feedback and be invited to resubmit your application for an additional fee.

Please note:
- By submitting your coaching recording, you are also warranting that you have permission from your Coachee to send the recording to Open Door and for the Open Door Assessor to listen to the recording.
- Please note submitting your application does not guarantee you entry to the program. If your recording or resume do not meet the entry requirements, a further application fee is required. All application fees are non-refundable.
