Every top person in every academic, sporting, or professional pursuit has a coach. In the past executive coaching was available in organisations to “the chosen few” or for “remedial purposes”. However, today more and more one-on-one coaching is spread across the leadership levels. In particular to achieve a great impact on the individual and the business.
Executives and senior managers choose an external coach because of the confidentiality, trust, and confidence to talk openly. Executive coaching provides leaders with a genuine sounding-board. Focused on you. It’s time to think strategically. It allows you to be challenged in a safe environment and you leave the session with clarity and a way forward.
Open Door delivers a set of high quality Executive Coaching services. This includes the support, motivation, encouragement that all leaders need. In addition, the business and leadership skills that all senior managers and executives need to achieve organisational goals. Furthermore to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
In particular, a good Executive Coaching Program is designed to capture and capitalise upon the wealth of experience held by the individual. And to leverage this experience to further develop their abilities in specific areas of needs.
At Open Door your coach will be qualified and ICF certified. This means that they meet the highest international standards of coaching. Along with their business experience at senior levels. But most importantly, it’s about finding the right person that you can work with.
A typical Executive Coaching Program is held over a period of 3-6 months. This ensures that goals are being implemented and results are being achieved. The program also has built-in flexibility to respond to “just in time” needs.
Coaching is conducted on a weekly or fortnightly basis initially and then drops back to each 3-4 weeks. This depends on schedules and needs.
Furthermore review sessions are built into the Program, to enable feedback to stakeholder and to track progress.
The following diagram shows the flow of activities to respond to an individual’s need for their coaching program.
