Take a moment to read through the managing your mental wellbeing during online leanring.
The course can occasionally cause upset to some participants, stemming from the nature of the content.
It’s best to do your MHFA course when you are feeling well, but even someone who is feeling great might be upset by thinking about some of these difficult topics.
The good news is that this doesn’t happen very often.
The document gives some tips and also information about how to raise any distress with your facilitator.
This is an optional quiz you can use to revise your learning prior to the start of the course. The quiz is not being marked or graded.
We’ll be going through ALGEE together and they are useful to help you apply the skills you have learnt.
Save these or print them out and have them with you during the training session.
This document contains a list of knowledge, skills and attitudes are those which encourage and indicate a capacity for mental wellness and appropriate responsiveness to mental illness. They are relevant in an individual, a group or an organisation. You can use this document for your own self assessment.
