#3 Coaching demonstration – a deeper dive into the more subtle ICF Core Competencies
Brigitte Calvert – PCC
Over the past two weeks in our Coaching Café we were delighted to bring you the opportunity to learn from a coaching demonstration. By listening to this coaching demonstration by Brigitte, we build on the foundations that we have been exploring over the past few weeks, and hear the ICF Core Competencies come to life.
Last week we explored the difference between ACC and PCC coaching. Building on this, we debrief the recording through the lens of the ICF Core Competencies. In particular, we take a deeper dive into the more subtle competencies: #4 Cultivates Trust and Safety, #5 Maintains Presence. Importantly, these competencies are built into all our coach training programs.
To get the most out of this session we recommend that you listen to the recording ahead of time and download the transcript. We have presented the two competencies below. You can listen to the recording and note which elements you are hearing.
